Disappointing platelet levels

We didn’t know blood counts could go down even without taking chemo treatments.   Jim’s platelets had risen, from 29 to 43 to 57, during the past two weeks, only to fall to 40 on Monday.  (Normal platelet range is 130-400.)  We are a little disappointed.  However, maybe they will be up next Monday when Jim gets his blood work and we meet with Dr. DeLeon.

    Dearest Beck and Jim..
I share this disappointment with you. Thru these twists and turns I know you two will stay the course. And know that so many are right there with you. Holding you up in prayer. A friend of mine shared a thought from her pastor’s sermon with me, last year when mother was having so many health issues. He used the term a time of
“radical waiting.” It struck a chord with me. We are always on God’s time.
    Love you all, Jayne
