Easter Sunday

Believing in God’s grace makes all of it a little easier.

On my way to meet Jim and Helen, at Justin and April’s house, in McKinney, Jim’s dad called and said we needed to come to Lubbock.  Jim’s grandfather had taken a turn for the worse.  (He was diagnosed with colon cancer just before Jim passed away.) The next day we were all there to give Papa Jim our love and thanks.  Early the next morning he passed away.  We will be celebrating his life tomorrow.

I can feel the difference created by his absence, and I will miss him terribly.  But, I know that he and Jim are now together.  Somehow that makes me feel better for both of them.

And the hope of the Resurrection makes it all better for all of us. Alleluia! He is risen, the Lord is risen indeed, Alleluia!
